I think the Dyson DC07 Animal is too heavy and awkward to be carried up and down stairs unless you are young and fit. Exceptionally noisy. Loss of suction and seriously overheating motor after about two weeks use. "Lifetime" filter and motor replaced by engineer under guarantee but soon same problems returned. I'm not going to waste my time with this, I want to do some cleaning.
