The import version of the Honda Civic is by far the best with its 160bhp and it can be boosted quite easily with simple mods and without spending a lot of money and a real head turner when its moving and stopped! Vtec gives a great kick and has a great sound that all Honda owners love!

Being 160hp the engine is almost maxed out already, later version B16's raised compression for the 170hp, and the japan spec civic type r has a B16B, again raised compression and about 20 other modifications to raise power to 185hp so any claims that a simple CAI + exhaust are going to raise horsepo ...

The Civic SIR or (EM1) is an amazing car. Its very reliable, very good on gas (Premium), and handles great with quick acceleration 0-60 7.2's. So what that there is almost no torque 111 and the cup holders are a bad design. I think it's still one of the better build Civic's that I have seen and driv ...

Honda Civic SIR 1.6 engines have a range of different powers straight from the factory, anywhere between 160bhp and 170bhp. But not only is there power, the gearing is so perfect that this car can out accelerate much better cars on paper.

I've modified the car by changing the air intake (this was ...

I'm a proud owner of a 99 Honda Civic SIR. This is one great fun car to be with. I love this car. It handles great, has decent power, sounds AWESOME above 5500 rpm at WOT, looks great in an understated way, and its a Honda. There are faster cars, and there are cheaper cars, but there are no faster c ...

The 1999 Honda Civic SIR is the best looking Civic ever. It is very easy to get 20-30 more horsepower and just as easy to make it handle like it's glued to the road. For more horsepower use AEM cold air intake (old or new V2 are about the same). I used DC 4-2-1 headers and high flow cat with Gred ...

I got my Honda Civic SIR a Centre Force Clutch kit and it was nearly the best thing I did , but if you are one of those who get excited while racing and double the clutch , think a lot before buying one because you will wear out the accels and ruin the engine and gear mountings. after adding the hea ...

The car is a 1999 Honda Civic SIR. I used to work for Honda and I know first hand the quality that is built into this car. This is the best Honda you can buy. Best bang for the buck, this is a fantastic car. I have owned the car since new and have had absolutely no problems. With inexpensive mods th ...

I have owned a 2000 Honda Civic SiR since new and have been in heaven ever since. What more could you ask for then to be able to bring a car up to 8000rpm. There is so much time to enjoy the sound of the engine. I have added a few bolt ons, such as a DC Sport exhaust (creates an amazing growl to t ...

Its a fun car. Good looking. Handles well, but could use a little work on turns. Its low end tourque could make u suffer on an unprepared race, however, once u get to ur 5rpms the car screams and is ready when push comes to shove. You can actually push to 8,300 RPMS without causing the needle to bou ...
