My first pair of rowleys didnt dissapoint me, except in one aspect. The ollie guard rips in about a week. Sure the laces rip but all shoe laces rip. You can buy somes new laces for cheap but all around a great shoe and defintely worth the dough.

I've had my Vans Rowley XL2's about a month and the places where you ollie have worn away, the stitching and some of the shoe had worn and is coming through to a lighter blue. Thats the bad points, so here is the good - they have good grip look good and are very comfatable.

The Vans Rowley XL2 is definitely a shoe worth the money if you have them in suede. The grip keeps you glued to your board and it wears down slow. There are only two problems I came across while owning the xl2's: I got a big hole in the side from heelflips (nothing a little tape can't fix) and the ...

I got the Vans Rowley XL2 like 2 weeks ago. They are just starting to rip now, but it's fine because they can be fixed and they were only 40 bucks from some online thing. I can land fake flips so easy with these shoes for some reason, I don't know why. They have great board feel and they are also ...

Vans Rowley XL2 are over $70 after tax at pac-sun. Don't buy if you plan to skate in them. what's the point after that then? Very sweet looking, and grippy on the bottom. The positive points stop there. Everything else sucks and vans needs to get their act together. lace guards are one of my pet pee ...

I've had my Vans Rowley XL2 since Christmas 2003 and there still in really good nick considering I wear them nearly every day. I have found the waffle grib isn't very good in the rain and I have the bruises to prove it.

My favourite pairs of vans row leys are the XLT`s, no doubt, at least the XLT`s has some `bulk` compared to these.
They look good if you just want to chill or hang out, but if you skate really hard, you will rip apart these shoes in no time--believe me. Most of the pairs I've seen here are suede, ...
