    It is because i am using one and it has helped me and lasted for a very long. it has re-stand some bad conditions when i was using it.

    Others, far brighter than me, have run comparative read and write tests (look on the Web). The Microdrive came out in the top few (beating most Flash Cards) in terms of BOTH its read and its wrire capabilities. It's an impressive device, but take care how you handle it.     An excellent memory card, the IBM microdrive I own is easily the best I've used in a long time, having previously had smaller capacity compactflash and smartmedia cards.
