    we had an apartment at the Watermouth Castle and therefore not only had a great base for the area but had free access to the castle museum and park everyday, which as it rained for over half the holiday was a godsend. our girls are 4 and 6 and were ideally suited to the amusements - any older and th ...

    We recently went whilst holidaying in Devon. It is a rather strange and dated place but this is what made it unique! We all loved it with ages of 2yrs, 4yrs, 5 yrs, 9 yrs and adults mixed male and female. There are certainly no white knuckle rides so i could imagine teenagers may not rate it. Min ...

    I visited the park last week with my family and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The park is geared to children but do make it enjoyable for adults and older teenagers.     Lovely family day out, just take a picnic to cut costs down, then all you need is to buy one of Watermouth Castle's scrumptious homemade ice creams on the way out!!

    Watermouth Castle is a castle and adventure park aimed at younger children.

    The castle is situated on the A399 between Ilfracombe and Combe Martin on the coastal road. A bus can be caught from Ilfracombe or Barnstaple. The castle is magnificent and overlooks Watermouth Bay, a small harbour.
