    JVC GR-DV4000 takes good pictures.
    Have used it for a few years now and it has been reliable although Heavy on battery use. Bottom loading of film means taking off tripod.
    Sound quality not exceptional.

    The JVC GR-DV4000 digital camcorder is a decent camera, and of good quality. It is also generally very reliable.

    It produces very nice quality images with a lot of light.

    The JVC GR-DV4000 is a good camera, met all my needs, good, clean, crisp film quality (especially noticed when filming during snowfall).     I purchased this JVC GRDV4000 Digital Camcorder in december 2003. There was some problem with this camera in focusing and frequently asking for head cleaning, no sound recording etc.etc. But the supplier replaced the unit with a new one.
