The Fiat Brava 1.4SX looks and feels Italian. I'm doing about 1000 miles per week with total reliability. I'm getting 57mpg from the 1.9 diesel and I love it to bits!

The Fiat Brava is a nice car, happy with it generally, no real problems, good to run, but high fuel consumption when driving in town.

Looks nice, spacious and comfortable but mechanics and clutch with gear box are very unreliable. Not reliable in terms of parts. Electric faults come up every week. I was on the road and went into a side road to reverse it. Pressed on the clutch to change to reverse gear and it gave grinding noise. ...

It's a family car alright. Large baggage, plenty of sitting space, comfort to the driver and it is still running neatly even after many kms ran. But Fiat maintenance, although cheap, is constantly required and with mileage comes increase of gas consumption and revisions. If you have knowledge in mec ...

Well, I've had my Fiat Brava 1.4SX for 2 years. It had 92,000 on the clock, now has 144. I've done over 50,000 miles and all that's been needed is brake pads, services, and last night my clutch went. Not bad at all, always gets me where I need to go without problem.

Overall, I quite like this Fiat Brava 1.4SX car. The developing rust spots on one of the panels and bonnet are annoying. I assumed the galvanised body wouldn't give me such problems? I also had a slight problem with the horn (wear and tear on contacts). This was supposed to have been sorted by a ser ...

My dad bought me a Fiat Brava 1.4SX for my 18th in January. Due to problems I didn't get it on the road until the start of May. Less than 2 months later, it was back sitting on my driveway. I'd blown a hole in the engine, which was leaking oil and had covered the whole of under the bonnet in it. ...

I have a Fiat Brava 97 (p) 1.4s, bought second hand in August 2004. For the first 6 months I had absolutely no real problems at all, lovely to drive, suited my needs (mum of 2 so school runs, shopping etc...) enough room in the rear for 2 kids car seats and another passenger (a thin one admittedly) ...
