Overall, its an amazing gun (For a first time shooter).
It feels a little plasticy when you first hold it, but don't let that fool you. This gun packs a pretty decent punch for your first gun and I find it to be amazingly accurate.

Great first gun. BARRLE break guns are jealous of this 840. I got this 840 when I was 9 years old, I'm 33 and it still shoots the same. Save yourself the research and time and just get this gun. Later on you can get something with more power.

The Daisy Grizzly 840 shoots great and is the best bb/pellet gun i have ever used. I love using this weapon, its so much fun to shoot.

I have two of these for my kid's they make a good first air gun.
easy to shoot with bb's I was surprised at how good it shot pellets as no riflings could get one hole groups at 25 ft.
I got this for the kid but find I enjoy shooting it my self.
Good for nice quite plinking can's in the back yard. ...
