Overall I enjoyed this series. Tamora Pierce knows what she's doing when she's writing fantasy. The Gift adds a different perspective to the book and she writes the battle scenes wonderfully.

These books are great and i just wish that someone that actually read the book would make a great movie about all of them. I know that i would definitely watch it. If you love this book you should definitely write a review to tell the people looking to read it how good it was.

Basically, this girl and her twin switch places- he to mageschool, she off to train as a page. The rest of the series is about her struggles first to keep up with the rest, and then to keep her secret as her body- and her talent for healing- developed. Also mixed in is her romances with the theif, G ...
