Checked on internet for this Zanussi TCE7276W and found these reviews, so I decided to fix it myself. Found a company online called "4Zanussi" based in the UK. With the unit unplugged from the mains, I removed the top panel (two screws at the rear). Removed the water tank from the front and the two ...

Our Zanussi TCE7276W condensing drier failed to start for the first time after about 3 years of fairly heavy usage. Having accessed this web site I checked the operation of the start button directly on the pcb and it worked OK. Checking the clear plastic "diode diffuser", I could see that the part t ...

We've had ours for about 3 years when one day it refused to start. Showed error code but Zanussi would not say what it meant. Web search indicated that on washing machines the code meant a motor failure. Given that it only has light use and being an engineer ( refusing to pay for excessive call out ...

I hardly ever used the Zanussi TCE7276W tumble drier 5 times a year, for about 5 years, as I had other machines and the wind outside.

However, I now try to use it, and it always blows cold. I fiddled about and realised that it was a button fault!

But I am loathe to spend 35.00 on callout etc ...

On OFF button failed after 16 months.
Turns out that like other reviewers the plastic strip behind the buttons was at fault. Contacted Zanussi supplied Serial No and Model No and lo and behold - design fault and Zanussi sent out an engineer who contacted me the next day and within 24 hours came out ...

Like others, we've also been affected by he defective button assembly problem, although we didn't know this initially. I called a local engineer out and was told that the problem was the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) which was defective and that this would cost upwards of £200 to repair, as it h ...

I, like many others, had the Zanussi TCE7276W dryer break down just outside of warranty, with the same broken button problem others have described here. I fixed mine myself, replacing the broken plastic with a solid plastic bar (actually a plastic screw mount) - which by the look of the design shoul ...

The Zanussi TCE7276W had been an excellent tumble dryer until the button failure, which repairers will tell you is a pcb fault and charge £100+ to fix. In reality the fault is actually a very flimsy, brittle plastic moulding between buttons, and the pcb which fails in time depending on usage. ...
