ive recently been given one of these BSA Standard No2 Model by my grandad i think its a earlier model though, as its the 2350th gun made with the letter "A" in front of the digits, amazingly light gun, and great for any shooter, dropped a few rabbits at 30-40 yards and a couple of pesky magpies its ...

This gun was made to last for ever, it handles very well and is not too heavy for anyone to carry, mine dates from 1934.
Some of the designers today could learn a thing or two from these vintage airguns, even the open solid steel sights are wonderful and it is so nice to see triggers and trigger gua ...

I have to admit I am biased towards this BSA Standard No2 Model rifle. My dad was walking across a field in 1924 at the age of 16 when an air-gun pellet whizzed past his ear. When he looked for the source the lad who fired it was 50 yards or more away. His instant thought was "Got to have one of tho ...

I bought my 1936 BSA Standard .22 off a mate for £50 and is in mint condition. It weighs approx 7.5lbs and packs one hell of a punch. I can get a pellet through a tin can almost everytime at 40 yds with open sights; it's a shame that it looks impossible to get mounts for sights due to the unde ...

I aquired a BSA Standard No2 Model.22 in almost mint condition about a year ago and its an absolute beauty, it catches everyones eye and is quite a conversation piece.
I reckon it's pretty easy to tweak as well I reckon it,ll match almost any underlever on the market today.

The BSA Standard No2 Model is a piece of british gunmaking history, I was given mine by a mate who found it stuffed in the rafters of an old barn he was converting up in the derbyshire peak district(must be a crackin story there....if only it could talk!!!!)got it home, freed it up with WD40, oiled ...

I'm new to reviewing air rifles but I think vintage ones deserve a mention. It is what I call a gas pipe airgun, some would say its ugly. Beauty is only skin deep! The gun is quite long and perhaps a little unwieldy but I love it. Easy to use and cheap to feed being a .177. I was ripping up beer can ...
