My favourite theme park. It is usually very clean and well looked after. Has some great roller-coaster and water rides. Has widest range of flat rides in the country and holds a few world and European records for its rides.

Great rides. Always a large number of rides broken down ( 5 top thrill rides today). Knock on effect means huge waiting times in excess of a hour. Could be awesome but lack of maintenance and poor management lets it down.

We went to Thorpe Park in May of 2008 and although we knew it would be busy, we hardly expected 1hr queues for most rides, and the longest queue to top 2hrs. If you don't like Looping madness and extreme G-force, Thorpe Park isn't really for you unless you really want to do it. Debit card payment system failed at entrance and staff were unhelpful and confrontational. After a long wait they refused to offer any discount or apology. We left the park without going in. Appalling customer service.
