Initially the Croydex H2O Hydro-Powered Mixer shower worked fine and replaced the original unit without to much disruption to the cubical. However shortly after a water softner had been fitted to our mains supply the h2o hydro powered shower developed problems mainly with the hot water supply not tu ...

I had the original Croydex H2O Hydro-Powered Mixer (a thinish square unit ) some 5 yrs ago and after 2yrs it would not turn off properly.
I was sent free of charge a completly new unit but of a different style (a round unit with large round wheel dial on/off assembly on the front ) but working on th ...

The Croydex H2O Hydro-Powered Mixer is no longer made and no spares available. Now as rare as hen's teeth and equivalently expensive. Frustrating. These units should be a mainstay of production of British industry and lack of spare parts is a short term business decision of which the UK is currently ...

My experience is similar. Folks, to repair the Aquadart leaking, does the white plastic bar that moves along to open the shower pull right out and is there a O Ring on the end of it that needs replacing to stop the leak.
Also where does one add the sicilon grease to make to operate better

Both my Croydex H2O and older Hydroflow are leaking so badly that the lower pressure will not pull the hot water sufficiently. Can anyone suggest a sealant that would work on this type of plastic. It happened when I had to take them apart to solve the 'not turning-off' problem, then they leaked fr ...

I'm in the plumbing business. The very low cost and hence minimal retail profit margin prevented promotion of this Croydex H2O Hydro-Powered Mixer through normal plumbing outlets.

I am very sorry that croydex discontinued production several years ago,and that no other similar product ,at a sensible ...

Please Croydex give us a suitable alternative to this shower, without us having to replace tiles and pipework. I just want to put something else in its place!

Loved this shower but unfortunately after nearly 3 years the hot water wouldn't switch off. Had a plumber look at it last night and showed him david 38 comments but could see nothing wrong with it.

Got to go looking for a new shower now but haven't a clue what to look for to fit properly and sav ...

Had the Croydex H2O Hydro-Powered Mixer shower less than 4 years and it would not turn off, seems to be a particular fault but having read David's comments of July 2007 we removed the dial, stripped it down, cleaned it out and applied silicon grease, it now works a treat. There was a lot of debris d ...

Powerful hot shower, easy to install, no electrics. Excellent, its a shame that croydex dont make them anymore. Hard water may cause problems, but doesn't it with all showers?
