The DeLonghi Bar 14 Cafe Treviso is one of the best presents I ever been given. Cheap in price, very good in quality. Compact so doesn't take up a lot up space ."Neutral" design. Makes great espresso and manually controllable, no need to drag the cup away when you want a small espresso just switch t ...

My DeLonghi Bar 14 Cafe Treviso Machine is one year old, and till now it's working perfectly. The most important part is to know how to choose the right coffee beans and how to grind them.
I suggest people to not waste their time and money with buying ready grinded espresso coffees from famous bran ...

First one leaked after 6 months. Wrote to supplier twice, but no reply yet. Fortunately I'd bought it from Argos, so could have replacement. The replacement machine's plastic tubing doesn't get to the bottom of the water container (it's 6 cm too short - trivial complaint, but still annoying. Whe ...

We've had the Delonghi Bar 14 for 13 months now, and for several months it has been leaking, now to the point we need to get a new machine.
The main problem for us is that to get the machine fixed we would have to take it to an authorised service centre, the nearest of which is 22 miles away (we're ...

This is my first espresso machine and I started off using illy pre ground espresso which is perfect for this machine, I was pulling 30ml shots in roughly 25 secs after a few goes. It took me a while to learn how to steam milk adequately to get enough foam for cappuccinos, but once u get the hang of ...

I have had the machine for about 14 months and it now leaks quite badly. Tried to contact DeLonghi but have not heard from them yet. (this was one month ago now). I am quite disappointed as the water here in Aberdeenshire is not hard.

This is a light-duty machine for people who do not want to impress and will be faithful to you for years (mine is now 5-6 years old and going strong with little care... but we have good water in South Africa).
Heats up quickly so is ready in no time. But am moving on to something beautiful and more ...

I would recommend the De Longhi Bar 14 overall as a starter machine despite the downsides.
