I bought my Yamaha XJ600N bike 2 years ago with 14,000 miles on the clock as a first big bike. I have ridden it all year round and have generally really enjoyed it. I had a starter relay go and have needed 2 new batteries despite use of an optimiser. It is fast enough for my needs, comfortable (with ...

Yamaha XJ600N has Good power, reliability, comfort, handling. try not to ride for short distances as you will get condensation in the engine, especially in winter.

Not the fastest 600 but was never meant to be. It's the Vauxhall Astra of the bike world. These things are pretty indestructable if you change the oil regularly (every 3000 miles). If the fork seals leak (and they will) pump the old oil out and when replacing with new oil, add about 40cc of STP Stop ...

I got 1999 XJ 600N, as older one have only one break disc on front, everything 1998 and over has two, and breaks are important :)
With BT-45 (I believe 45 is right number) this bike handles and rides perfectly.
I can do on it 25-30mp/h 90 degrees corner in dry.
    Stops quick with standard breaks.
    Take ...

All in all a good bike not as good as the xj diversion 600s there seems to be something missing between them may be the ugly diversion and that plastick frunt fering might look crap but does the job. Can't put my finger on it but hay for 900 pounds who give a damn.

The Yamaha XJ600N is the slightly cheaper version of the Suzuki Bandit in many ways, and thats what attracted me to the bike. After a quick look on eBay I found numerous bikes at 10 yrs old with 20,000 miles or less for under £700. Now thats a lot of bike for the money.

    The reliable and we ...

This is my second biggish bike, my first was a BMW 650 Funduro but I wanted something with more grunt and more pistons.
The Yamaha XJ600N is a good bike for a novice to get used to that big bike feel. It's fast enough and handles reasonably, is good on fuel and is quite a forgiving bike. The back ...

I got the Yamaha XJ600N bike as my first big bike after Direct Access Course, 15-20 since I last rode bikes regularly, and it's easy to maintain with a workshop manual and a shed.

I put BT45's and a fly screen on my xj600n too, the fly screen does deflect a fair amount of wind from the body at sp ...

The Yamaha XJ600 motorbike is an air-cooled four cylinder machine. The type that the Japanese are most famous for. Yamaha made it in various versions for years.

It is grey and white. It does not have a kick starter. It's also got a locking fuel tank, alloy wheels, helmet lock, indicators and rea ...
