At time of purchase (2002?) the 1220C offered value for money as a postscript compatible A3(+) printer. I don't have any complains about this printer, it is working very fine for me. The print quality is good, fast and efficient. I only have trouble setting it up at first but when got hold of the manual, then it would be alright.

The ink was quite good, but sometimes when printing photographs with vi ...

Don't buy a HP Deskjet 1220C printer unless you only want to print on standard paper - and if that's all you want to do then, in my opinion, there are cheaper and better.
I have found that with my printer, the rear feed doesn't work, it won't handle photographic paper - and I find it to be even unr ...

HP has designed a rear manual feed which does not work, and we customers paid for it. It is very interesting that such a big company feels no responsibility for deceiving customers.

For the first six months or so after purchase, the HP Deskjet 1220C inkjet printer seemed like an excellent choice. The print quality (on photo paper) was glossy and rich, and if it occasionally had problems picking up sheets from the paper tray, then that was a small flaw.

    Since then (I've had ...
