The rotating screen on the Ricoh RDC7 digital camera is such a brilliant feature that it is a surprise others haven't followed suit. The controls are easy to use and even having two shutter buttons adds to the ease of use rather than being a gimmick. As an automatic camera it has enough controls to ...

I have owned a Ricoh RDC-7 digital camera for approx a year, Which in that time have found absolutely nothing to moan about!
The picture quality is second to none, I can't fault it's performance in any way. Some seem to gripe about the video (.avi) formatting, yet is somewhat superior in playback ...

Some people complain about avi format for video, but this is a far better format than windows media player, the software bundle includes quicktime for avi, so there is nothing to complain about. The software is excellent and the camera is a dream...go on, buy one.

I was led to buy the Ricoh rdc-7 primarily because it was a neat looking 3 megapixel camera that had fallen in price quite dramatically recently. Not the best of reasons, but I have been very impressed by what I got. Setting the white balance stops the flash, which forces 'slow shutter' and without ...

I have now had the Ricoh RD7 for 6 months and (apart from the AVI problem) it is near impossible to fault, Having two sources of memory (Internal & Card) is great. Viewfinder and screen, ditto. The camera takes good pictures in a range of challenging conditions. The Kids have used it, and it still w ...

I bought the Ricoh RDC7 digital camera for my research project to take close-up pictures from small samples (using 1 cm macro facility) and it does the job very well.

In my view, the best digital camera for the money. All the family have used it with great success. As with all digital cameras you need a good printer and glossy paper. I use an Epson 880.
It is also well designed and slips into your pocket very nicely, not like most digital cameras that need a s ...

Quite simply the Ricoh RDC7 is an excellent buy at just over £400 - it was more than double this price last year and it's replacement the Ricoh i500 doesn't get as good a review in the press.

prior to this digital camera I was rather afraid of photography. But now it has so many easy to use features that I can click away merrily. Am now taking really good photos, portrait, views, general snaps, and video. I can't praise it enough.
And the document feature is so handy.

I have only had the Ricoh RDC7 digital camera for 1 month, but I have used it a lot in this time and I have used most of the modes. It fits into your pocket easily and is quick to turn on and shoot.
