I must confess we bought a 2.5 turbo diesel shogun and very impressed, so far the truck has done much more than expected, our first diesel and would have another tomorrow, This would be on my consideration list if I were going new.

I've got the last of the mark ones on a h reg if I was to buy another pajero when this one ends its life i wouldn't be tempted to going to a 2.8 later model....I would invest in the early mark 2 which has a 2.5 t intercooled lump the same as the mark1. You normally find this model on a late h reg or ...

Overall I'm very pleased with the pajero's performance and reliability to this point. It performs very well for what it was made to do - It's an off road machine, easily giving a Toyota Lancruiser a run for its money. However if you stick to mostly driving on pavement and freeways this vehicle will ...

Can't believe how much you can get for the money. Japanese imports are the best - often very low mileage even for early 90's cars. If mine breaks tomorrow I go out and buy another straight away - love it.

I drive a 1987 Mitsubishi Pajero (Shogun in some markets) 2.5 TD. It is a pre-intercooler version. This venerable verteran now has 472800km on the clock, the engine still runs like a dream, the bodywork is still excellent, and the base has been protected with waxoil. I am extremely happy with my Paj ...

I agree with most points made by the previous reviewee on the Mitsubishi Shogun 2.5TDi, and some, generally the car performs very well in all conditions. Just recently returned from a meeting that was held in a large field, on a very steep hill, everybody got in, luckily but when it came to leaving ...

I have owned many 4x4 vehicles and about a year ago I found a 1988 Mk1 2.5 LWB Hi-Top for very good money. On the test drive the steering felt VERY light compared to Sportrak I was using at the time, and there was a tendency for straight-line wander which was easy to sort out with a few spanners. ...

I have a Mitsubishi 2.5TD SWB GLS 1993 model. I have always wanted to purchase a shougun and looked everywhere for a decent well looked after model. I found this baby in a garage in preston, the body work was fine, had full service history and had been well looked after. I avarage about 26mpg and ...
