    I have taken several hundreds shots with this Fuji Finepix 4700 digital camera and have only been disappointed on the night shots. I think the flash is low spec.
    Overall the camera is easy to use, I have been pleased with the life of batterys. I use 1600mah.

    Rang & was quoted 75.93 GBP for repair to my Fuji Finepix 4700 digital camera. Invoice dated 29/4/02 recd on 30th. Rang and authorised repair using Visa. Told repair within 5 working days.
    10th May rang to ask. They claimed only authorised on 8th May!!! Denied it was possible for it to be autorised ...

    I like this Fuji Finepix 4700 digital camera but it has proved a poor buy. It has been back to Fuji 3 times since I bought it taking 6 weeks, 2 weeks and 5 weeks+ as it is away being fixed at the moment. The problem is the lens falls out.     I bought my Fuji Finepix 4700 digital camera in November 2000 and have taken hundreds of photos with it in all conditions. I also use a Canon AE1 SLR and a Kodak DC4800 in my business.     I was looking for a mid range digital camera in Dec 2000 and noted from reviews and opinions of learned professionals the 4700 was the one for me.

    I doubt whether an enthusiastic amateur could want any more than this digital camera provides. Incidentally - ordered on Friday and delivered on Monday. Excellent service. £20 cheaper than a large High Street store advertising same camera £50 off.

    Can't add anything to the previous reviews, except I bought one over a year ago for more than £500. At less than £400 (now), it's a snip
