The BPS is a clearly superior design to the Remington 870. There are fewer moving parts -- the loader bars double as the ejection bars, so it is impossible (at least, I've never done it) to short-cycle the gun and jam a shell under the ramp, as is common in 870s and their clones. The enclosed actio ...

Currently own 3 BPS shotguns. A 3" Stalker, a 3" Hunter, and a 3.5" dipped in Mossy Oak camo. The Hunter is the smoothest cycling of the bunch., and the wood looks pretty. The camo model came with a synthetic butt stock that had some cast-off designed into it. Not very nice for lefties like me. Othe ...

I hunt 90% in salt marsh country and love my BPS (had it 20 yrs. and now have 3 in 12G.), I have several doubles but this gun handles more naturally for me . I originally bought it because I liked the heft of it (it's a bit heavier than an 870, which I like as I think it gives a more consistent swin ...

The BPS is one of the best pump shotguns available. Great for the left-handed shooter or anyone who likes collecting his empties after firing. A great gun at a much lower price than a Browning over/under. Highly recommended.

A top of the range pump gun, mine was a steal at £170. I had a Mossberg 500 before the bps, but the build quality and bottom ejection is far superior, and it's a Browning.

Over all, I consider the Browning BPS to be the best deal for your hard earned money If you want a quality gun that will pattern way better than most guns 3 times the price, and will not let you down in the field no matter what your quarry may be, from doves, pheasants, turkey, and big game such as ...

The Browning 12ga BPS and the Remington 870 express are the two smoothest guns I have ever shot. I like the BPS because of the bottom ejection, keeps the empties at your feet rather than somewhere in the bushes near by. The top tang safety is instinctive to use and easy to check with just a touch of ...

The Browning 12ga BPS Sporting Shotuns action is almost silky in nature and delivers quick, crisp follow-up shots (as long as the shooter's arms are long enough to comfortably reach the forearm). 3-inch chamber can handle any loads without jamming or sticking and fires plenty of power to fold up any ...

I bought the Browning BPS 12ga primarily for its bottom load/eject feature since I'm a lefty.Out of the box the gun patterned almost perfectly with all three chokes at thirty yards with 1.125 oz shot. Pattern was centered left/right and approx 3 inches high of target.
Shooting doubles at trap this ...
