“Customer service is a joke!”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Janaew52 on 15/05/2018

Today I rang up to get insurance on a phone I bought with them, I was on the phone a total of 40minutes, and spoke to about 6/7 different people, first one was helpful, but the others just transferred me. I explained to the last lady I spoke too how many people i have spoken to and asked could she just sort my problem out please? And got sworn at and hung up on! Disagraceful. I would not recommended this company to anybody! You need to give your staff some customer service training. I hope I never have to deal with you again!

Ok so I’m a customer with Carphone ware house who are there sister company, my phone was due a upgrade and I was going into the shop to get my phone upgrade as I had been in there before my upgrade was due and they said if I order on Monday I will get my phone on Friday. The Sunday before the Monday I got a call for a e2save sales team man, this guy convinced me that my phonee will Arrive by Friday if I order on the phone with him so I agreed to do my upgrade through e2save in the phone. Friday comes and no phone, so I called them up and they tell me it will b next Friday, not the Friday I was at home waiting for my new phone. I filed a complaint and still waiting for a reply, it’s been two weeks now!... and still waiting!...

“cannot cancel”

written by McLaughlin186 on 13/11/2017

stupidly agreed to an upgrade via a cold call - provided me with a small handset when specifically requested a large handset. They don't send a confirmation email and make every effort to mislead. They supply a form with the phone that has transaction no. and invoice number. No website, no customer service number! As I thought I was being sold this phone by carphone warehouse I called their customer services, who took all my details and appeared to know who I was - when i said i didn't want the phone and was returning it, they told me to take it back to a store. At the store, they say I have to deal with e2save online. Just another waste of time and they know exactly what they are doing. They are making it as difficult to return the phone as it is humanly possible. All e2save phone numbers are premium rate. You won't be able to access your order on their website or get to speak to anyone. - and yes they are part of shady carphone warehouse. DO NOT USE E2SAVE or CARPHONE WAREHOUSE

“Awful service”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Stuartisnothappy on 06/11/2017

Having ordered my new Google pixel I decided I liked the phone but wanted to change tariff. I contacted customer services 2 days after receiving the phone and we'll within the 14 day cooling off period. I have had such poor response from e2save that 5 calls later over the course of a month, and more than 90 minutes on the 13p + a minute phone line to customer services I am now locked into the tariff I didn't want. I have been promised a 24 hour call back from a manager twice and both times they have failed to respond. I would definitely not recommend to anyone else. On top of this I have been sent a phone that seems to be second hand as I am receiving text messages from a bank with personal details of an account from what I can only pressure is the last owner. Very very poor service.

“13p/min! 50 min queue!”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Colemanoa354 on 04/09/2017

Tried to order a phone online tonight. Fault with their website meant unable to order before price increase tomorrow, and cashback ends. Phoned their customer service line. Kept on hold for 52 mins at 13p/min, only to told that the line is now closed! Hence very annoyed. Checked for an email address, and not surprised to find out that haven't got one.

“miss sale”

written by on 08/04/2017

hi I was promised the end of Feb 2017 a cheque for £200 as part of the cashback deal plus a new ! phone for my up graded. Since then, I have received a cheque for £140 after so many weeks of calling and a basic phone so cheap and nasty that I can no get it to work. I have to continue using my old phone and now when I speak to customer care , they denied what they initially promised. This is terrible and is a miss Sale. Im an old pensioner and I find it hard to deal with this situation and I still don't seem to find their email address to be able to complain as is no good over the phone

“Surprisingly excellent service ”

★★★★★

written by PaddyJPG on 02/02/2017

After reading reviews of this company on the internet, I had my reservations about purchasing a phone with them. However, I have been pleasantly surprised. I bought a refurbished iPhone for a very good price from them yesterday evening and received it in the early afternoon today. The phone is in perfect condition and service has been second to none. I received updates on my delivery throughout the day and night and even a one hour slot in which my phone was delivered. This was delivered on time and was signed for. Reading other reviews, it seems as though people haven't read the terms and conditions of the sale. This phone is very cheap and the company will not have amazing service because of this. However, as I have mentioned this was not the case with me. I would recommend this company to others however please ensure that you are happy with the t&cs before purchase!

Made the mistake of taking out a SIM card with Vodaphone through these people. I have tried to find out how to return this SIM card as not needed. (Vodaphone's 03 number takes forever. If you do get through they pass you on to someone who hangs up. Finally they send you back to E2Save.) 'E2Save' means 'save up to speak to us'. Their 0871 number costs 13ppm + charges. If you use their unpublished landline for customer service you will find that all the options you try lead to an 'office closed' message. No doubt it's the same if you ring at 13+ppm. OH, and I now find out that this is the bunch that had all their 2.5m customers' data hacked recently. They are a subsidiary of Carphone Warehouse. If you want an alternative, try Mobile Phones Direct. A very positive experience by comparison. Can anyone tell me how to contact E2Save? Still trying!

I took out a mobile phone contract with phone included on a cash back deal. Jumped through all the hoops the cash back requires. I should have got £208 back but only received one cheque for £40 odd quid. Now they've been ciber attacked and lost my banking details. Avoid like the plague along with their parent carphone warehouse.

“KEEP AWAY!!!”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Clareb454 on 27/06/2015

Stay well clear having had a few contracts with e2save during this last contract their customer service seems to have gone downhill. They have lost two of my bills which I have sent in by post and missed out on the cashback and have just rejected my latest bill because its literally few days out this despite the fact that I haven't missed or madea late payment in any of my contracts. They don't send any reminders they want you to forget so they can keep your money.

“Close to illegal, surely!”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Wallaceyw326 on 08/04/2015

I had a phone call purporting to be from my mobile supplier, inviting me to upgrade. I agreed as the offer sounded pretty good. However, the small print, when it arrived, stated that I'd agreed to buy a REFURBISHED, MINI version of the phone I thought I'd be getting. When I tried to call to cancel, none of the phone numbers on the correspondence worked. I called the fraud helpline and they advised me not to accept delivery of the "new" phone when it arrived. This saved me from what would have been a very costly error - having refused the delivery, I was able to cancel the contract, but it took several months and repeated telephone calls to be able to do this. My advice: never, ever, have anything to do with E2Save - however good their offer sounds. In fact, never accept a marketing call from anyone inviting you to upgrade, even if you think it's from your own supplier. If you do want to upgrade, shop around when you are good and ready.

“Ridiculous!”

written by emmaisaac78 on 21/01/2015

I got a call from a lady just over a week ago claiming to be from carphone warehouse, to cut a long story short she offered me a new contract with my existing supplier but the phone that I wanted with the storage data, etc. I received this phone and the new SIM card and followed instructions on how to operate, the sim card didn't work, because I had activated the sim my old sim was disconnected leaving me with no phone, I have spoken with vodaphone and they have sent me three separate sims all of which don't work, in short the phone is faulty! I tried to call customer services today only to be told they cant help because the address on file for me doesn't match the one I have given (I went through every address I have ever lived with) so in short I have no phone, haven't had no for 6 days, I have a young child and no means of contact should I need to call anyone and they refuse to help me until I can email them two proofs of identification, ridiculous considering they managed to change my mobile contract and send me a new phone but cant help me when something has gone wrong - shocking!! Seemed too good to be true and definitely was

E2save are part of the Carphone warehouse. You would have been told that in the beginning of the conversation but because e2save is the shorter of part of the Carphone warehouse you probably won't have registered it in your head. You would have received email and text messages to confirm the contract and deal with a customer service number to contact should you have any problems. You also had 14 days in which to return the handset in the accompanying returns package that arrived WITH the phone so why did you not return it for exchange?? After two sim cards that should have told you that the phone was faulty. The phone would have been in an unopened box so no one went out of their way to provide you with a damaged phone and how do you know it wasn't damaged by the courier throwing it about in the van or depot? Easy to blame the phone company I guess.

“I upgraded my phone and contract with e2save and made...”

written by donnawood on 30/11/2014

I upgraded my phone and contract with e2save and made the choice to take the particular package that had the Toshiba laptop as my free gift this was the only reason I chose to go with e2save .I have received my phone as stated but have not received the laptop this is now a week overdue and I cant make contact with any e2save personal to discuss the matter due to the costumer services line is to busy 3 hours I have tried for .I wish to cancel my contract with e2save I find the whole service disgustingly poor and believe the laptop is just a scheme to get you to sighn into the contract. if I don't hear anything I will start a facebook campaign highlighting these facts and also be contacting watchdog to inform them of your underhand tactics ...this is by far the worst company I have had the displeasure to have dealt with !!!!

Bigboo's Response to donnawood's Review

When you take the package it doesn't arrive together! Because you have 14 days cooling off you could send the phone back and keep the laptop which would not be fair on the trader, so to keep things right you receive the extra packages after the 14 days, it is the same with the accessories pack and phone cases. Its not rocket science really. Common sense seems to be missing from a vast majority of these unfair reviews.

Got a 24 month contract with them, 250 mins, 3000 texts 500mb data and cashback. Received a text from network operator saying I get 200 mins, 3000 texts and 250mb of data. Also contacted E2SAVE about the cashback and they said there is no cashback on this deal, I took a screenshot of the email with the cashback and the link and they still said "no cashback on this deal". I am now stook in a 2 year deal with less mins and data and no cashback. Steer clear from them!!!!!!

Hi, I work for E2save. Phones should usually be connected within 48 hours, this is the guidance the networks provide us with. Get I ask you try the following things: 1. Switch the phone off for 2 minutes and then switch on again 2. Go to settings, look for networks and check you network is in range. 3. Visit the network's website and call the customer service team. If none of these work then please give us a call and we'll do our utmost to help. your sincerely E2save
