Sony MZ-N707: I will be short about this. In the 70's I was carrying with Nagra III and Uher 1000 report gear. In those days that stuff was called, portable!!! Now this device is recording with good mic's better than a Nagra or Uher. So,... me and my back and ears are very happy :-)

I use to have an older minidisc from Sony and it worked like a charm but transferring music was a drag. When I heard about the Netmd minidisc I decided to get one. Its one of the best investments I have ever made. Its quick and easy to transfer songs from my computer including the song titles and ...

Small and compact. Great software, make sure you use the Simple Burner software, which doesn't require you to load your hard drive up with audio files when using the MagicGate Check-In/Out process.
Great sound. Records from PC utilizing USB, or any type of personal player.
Two thumbs up.... ...

The Sony MZ-N707 mini disc player gives easy access to songs and has an amazing remote control. One problem: volume not as high as I thought it should go up to.
