I ended up purchasing C-9's for $1200 cdn after looking at JBL's ,Mission, B&W and a few others. I found these to be the best for the money. I watch a lot of movies but also like to listen to music. I had a yamaha 593 that puts out 80 watts pc...the C-9's sounded great. I now have a Yamaha 3300 that ...

I have had these Energy Connoisseur C-9 speakers for a month now, they are effortless, rich sounding speakers that really fill the room with sound.
Clear crisp sound with excellent imaging for H/T and Music DVD'S as well as CD'S.
I have them hooked up to a Carver 885.1 receiver and these speakers ...
