    I'm a 7 handy cap.
    I've played Apex Plus irons for years. In a quest for move forgiveness in the 3 4 5 irons I bought set of Apex Edge irons and made my set a combo set Edge 3,4,5 then Apex 6,7,8,9 EW.
    This has worked great.

    these Ben Hogan Apex Edge irons play very solid with great distance... i use the stiff flex shafts... never had a complaint since the day i purchased them... very solid feel coming off the face of the club... not the most forgiving club in golf but for mid handicapers this club is as good as any miz ...

    Having bought these clubs after using a fairy broad range of other big name cavity irons, I can honestly say that I have found the perfect irons. These irons age well and won't end up looking like a victim of golf fashion like other more 'colourful' irons out there.

    The clubs look great, and they fly very low and long, with the extra run generated with the lower flight.
    the long irons are so easy to hit, with the extra weight to get the ball in the air.
    im an 18 handicapper, and i can hit a one iron off the deck, as easy as hitting a wedge.

    Being a high handicapper, I was looking for game improvement clubs. I had demoed Callaway Big Berthas, Cleveland TA 7, Cobra SS, MacGregor VIP Cavities and Blades, Wilson Deep Reds, Titleist OS, Callaway VFTs, Callaway X-14s.
