Webley Sport .22 is a brilliant as a a starter rifle. It is only suitable for plinking. Target shooting is possible under 15 metres. Hunting is definately out of question as the rifle is not poweful enough. The sights are brilliant but the forsight illuminator tends to fall out if not glued in.

After owning my Webley Sport .22 for 3 years one thing became obvious, it is a brilliant starters rifle but if you want something for hunting or targets it just won't perform. I am an experienced target shooter and when i tried targets at 10m the grouping was slightly disappointing. With a Steyr I u ...

The Webley Sport .22 was the first air rifle i ever owned. I bought one for about £90 six years ago. To me it is a fantastic starters rifle for the newcomer or younger air gunner. I found the accuracy, look and feel to be reasonably good for a budget springer. I added a scope to my sport .22 ...

Got to agree with another posters comments about being an average rifle. However the finish is acceptable for the price you pay as is the power level which seems to be around 10 ftlb, unlike some other cheaper rifles which claim to be 12 ftlb and turn out to be about 8 in reality. Seems quite accurat ...

I'm a total amateur when it comes to using air rifles but I have found the Webley Sport to be a great starter rifle and excellent value at only £120 including 400 free pellets.
It's very easy to use and packs quite a punch: I shot an empty drinks can and the pellet went straight through both ...

The Webley Sport .22 is my first air rifle and I think it is great. I paid £150 for the gun, pellets, case and scope and that is good money for what you get. The weight is just 5.8lbs, for me that means I can keep it steady and shoot all day.

I bought the Webley Sport .22 for my son, and it lasted just over a week before being part-exed for a true Webley and not a cheap rebadged import.
The trigger is so sharp its hard to hold steady unless bench resting. The rifle doesn't have enough power to knockdown a knockdown target at 25 yards. ...
