This album is beast. The grinding guitars will melt your face like ice cream on a 200 degree day. The drums will make your legs and arms pain just hearing them. Cliff Burton is the best bassist to every play in a band, ever. Battery, master of puppets, and orion showcase his bass ability. long live Cliff. Unlike most metal today, the songs on this Metallica album actually mean something. The songs on Master of Puppets aren't just "look at me, I play guitar loud and go by nobody's rules but my own" songs.

In my time, there is the music I love and then there is Metallica. They were what got me into music and because of MASTER OF PUPPETS. I now love a variety of music including classical and jazz.

Once I charged the battery on my iPod I was able to listen to the opening monstrosity. Then my master commanded me to remove the puppets from my bed, as I was going to sleep. Metallica, whether you like it or not, were untouchable when they made Master of Puppets. Today they are still brilliant, but are just a fraction of what they used to be. Master Of Puppets is one of the best songs I've ever heard. The rest is just as good. Buy it.
