This album is beast. The grinding guitars will melt your face like ice cream on a 200 degree day. The drums will make your legs and arms pain just hearing them. Once I actually listened, the bass was awesome. This is an extremely similar format to Ride the Lighning, the bands second studio disc, wit ...

Unlike most metal today, the songs on this Metallica album actually mean something. The songs on Master of Puppets aren't just "look at me, I play guitar loud and go by nobody's rules but my own" songs.

In my time, there is the music I love and then there is Metallica. They were what got me into music and because of MASTER OF PUPPETS. I now love a variety of music including classical and jazz.

Once I charged the battery on my iPod I was able to listen to the opening monstrosity. Then my master commanded me to remove the puppets from my bed, as I was going to sleep. But the thing that should not be, is the fact that I got no Welcome Home from my friends in the Sanitarium that night. Fortun ...

Metallica, Master of Puppets focused on an anti war cover theme, and a title song that was literally aimed at the addicts of narcotics, this album is a step ahead of many other main stream bands of the time. Master of Puppets is a timeless master peice, of thrash and classical influence fused togeth ...

Metallica, whether you like it or not, were untouchable when they made Master of Puppets. Today they are still brilliant, but are just a fraction of what they used to be. Master Of Puppets is one of the best songs I've ever heard. The rest is just as good. Buy it.
