The Baikal IZH-46M is the best pellet pistol I have ever had. Trigger is very good. I do think the red dot sight option is good for these old eys. The price to value is very good JTC

I have enjoyed using this Baikal IZH-46M gun. It is the first air pistol I have owned so I am still having difficulty keeping it on target.

Baikal IZH-46M is extremely accurate, easy to use, rather inexpensive (comparing to analogs).
Grips need to be adjusted (though this made intentionally). Rather heavy.
Cool thing! Couldn't stop shooting after getting it out of the box.

if you are going to get into the competition of air pistol shooting, then this is THE PISTOL TO BUY. I have been in marksmanship competitions for over 30 years and have won my share of tropies. I have never owned a gun that shot so well out of the box and had as sensative trigger as this pistol. ...

extremely accurate and well made with a great trigger, but somewhat bulky and haven't located appropriate scope mount yet for the Baikal

It took me a long time to find one here in the UK. The long wait was worth it and I use it in the back garden whenever I get the chance. After hours of reworking the oversize grips it now feels part of my right hand.

I have never been able to justify spending £500 plus for a target air pisto ...

I used this pistol in competition for many years. It's surprisingly accurate and a great value. You couldn't ask for a better entry/mid-level air pistol. I also agree that there is no need for anything else until you're consistently shooting over 560-565. And by then, you'll want to purchase a ...
