    We have just returned from a 14 day transatlantic cruise with Royal Caribbean on the Vision of the Seas. I was very annoyed when 14 days before leaving we were told that the Windjammer resturant would be closed for a complete overhaul. This project we found out had been planned back in November 08. ...

    Royal Caribbean was disappointing. Very poor entertainment, early closing (2115)of windjammer restaurant so no night cuppa and biscuit. restaurant ran out of raisin bran, marmalade, morning orange juice and on several occasions we had to wait twenty to thirty minutes for butter.     The layout of the ship was very easy to get around. The overall condition of the ship was very good. The stateroom staff was excellent as well as the dining room staff. The food was very good.     This was our 9th cruise, the first with RCI. The ship departed from LA and visited Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, and Puerto Vallarta. We booked an outside deck 2 aft Category I cabin.
