    The food on the Norwegian Star was excellent the staff were very helpful and friendly, the cabin was very clean, the trip to Alaska was wonderful, we came home on Tuesday and booked another NCL cruise on Saturday so that says it all.     I won't cruise again - at least not with NCL. From the daily "service charge" per person (just for being on the ship!) to the additional 15% auto gratuity (I wonder how much of that the staff actually sees), to the CONSTANT (and I'm not exaggerating) sales pitch from waiters to buy more drinks, it w ...

    Overall, as a first time cruise on the Norwegian Star NCL cruise, we had the best vacation. the weather for the week that we were in Alaska was great, and the temperatures were normal with lots of sunshine.
