Clearly, the worst piece of rubbish hotpoint have ever produced.
I purchased this fridge freezer for aprox £700 about 5 years ago and have had nothing but bother with the awful freezer section.

After 4 years we have finally given up with this Fridge/Freezer. After numerous call outs, replacement parts and a waste of money warranty. Its about to be thrown, we won't even give it away its so bad. Has ruined so much frozen food. Constantly beeps, defrosts itself, the fan has packed up 3 times. ...

my freezer beeps all the time and defrosts after 4 years and over 20 call outs and goodness knows how many repairs its being replaced its awfull never would want hotpiont again

My Hotpoint FFA47x Frost Free has put me off frost free fridge freezers forever. My hotpoint dishwasher is still going after 12 year. I'm going back to a normal fridge freezer,maybe a bosch.indesit havnt got them yet as far as i know. ill never buy hotpoint again

The Hotpoint FFA47x frost free lets itself down. The fridge beeps at you if you leave the door open, the freezer doesn't! But it does beep at you when you come down in the morning to let you know that it has defrosted. Work that one out!if it was quieter and freezer door shut better or had alarm to ...

Hotpoint come to fix my Hotpoint FFA47x Frost Free fridge freezer and told us not to use the top freezer container as this would cause the issue.
