    A great machine. We have saved a lot on water and electricity bills.

    I would easily recommend this Hoover CA230 machine to all. No need for repairs and fix-ups.

    This was second hand from my parents who had it for 7 years, without any worries.

    I don't think a set of motor brushes is bad in 9 years of this Hoover CA230 doing approximately 12 washes a week. A fantastic work horse this one.

    Disappointing that it only lasted 6 yearsprevious Hoover lasted 12!! And only one motor!

    DO NOT purchase the Hoover CA230 unless you want to spend your spare time rebuilding it every weekend.

    Forget the brand - this is cheaply-made rubbish and not the stuff that the company built its reputation on. Tub is plastic. What metal there is is cheap and nasty tin. The design of this machine is very poor in that the sump hose fails on a regular basis. I have seen a few of these in my travels ...

    The Hoover CA230 is a UK made 1300 spin speed washing machine. If a door seal goes, you have difficulty replacing it. This means a call out charge. The next break down and this is for the scrap yard.
