Ordered a PS3 for my son for Christmas, play.com took my money no problems, over a week later and the online tracking just says "Package data Received", I phoned customer service who said that it was a mistake and not to worry in 3 weeks I can apply for a refund !

Checking on their website it seems ...

pre-ordered MW2 with play. was going to cancel and switch to game.com as they had guaranteed delivery but then play said they were using couriers to send the games out for the release date guaranteed so i stuck with play. more fool me. ended up waiting nearly 2 weeks before i got the game.

Beware - These guys are based in Jersey outside of UK vat and other legislation - It is a nightmare to get a proper receipt out of them as if the item is over £18 and shipped to the UK from Jersey they have to pay UK VAT on the sale, this is how they get to be cheaper than other suppliers - b ...

Pre ordered MW2, Didn`t arrive on release date as advertised. Not a happy bunny, will be sending both copies straight back. You pay the full whack when preordering a game knowing full well the supermarkets will have it in cheaper. And the only reason is so you can play the game on release day.
