A wonderful book that is particularly good at showing how the Germans ran the Russian war day-to-day. Very detailed. I particularly like the bits where Hitler and his senior staff argue about where all the tanks and trains should be sent. I was amazed at how much Hitler 'micro-managed' the war. If y ...
