Owned this Vauxhall Sintra 3.0 cdx since 2004 and only had battery and pads and discs renewed. Done the work myself and found parts on line. But today the heater wasn't blowing out hot air, checked the coolant level and lots of brown gunge came out of the filler tank for water....head gasket me thin ...

I love my Vauxhall Sintra! Comfortable; reliable; variable `goods' capacity - fantastic with `2 up'; very tight with `7 up' (difficult to get a picnic in!). Handles my luggage trailer very nicely. I look forward to quite a few more years pleasure.

Since we bought this Vauxhall Sintra a few months ago we have been riddled with problems, oil leak form the adapter seal by the filter, cat went, only £80 new fitted myself, we did 300 miles and still had fuel left over, but you got to drive sensibly or you will see it drink!

We all grumble about prices but I dont think the Vauxhall Sintra much differant than any other car these days. All in all very happy with my Sintra and air suspension is good when towing twin axle caravan. I don't find mpg bad at all. It is a big car with nice 200 bhp engine
