Don't advise anyone my age to insure their first car as the price is ridiculously expensive. Atrociously high insurance for a 20 year old person to insure any small hatchback even with 1 year no claims.

I skidded on ice and wrote my car off. Tesco insurance were great, arranging pick up, valuation and money through within a month. No problems changing details, and no extra charges. All in all, very good experiences.

An utter dissappointment. I bought a car 2 months previous to a accident that was not my fault and got offered half the amount I paid for it after being told the reason being was stained interior and paint damaged caused in the accident.

Tescos may come up as the one of the cheaper insurers to use, but there is many reasons for this. Lack of the good service, unhelpful and rude staff in every department. Slow to sort out claims/ problems, try and trap you into keeping you in your policy, just a very bad service all together.
