    In all the years that Jaguar have funtioned they have never lost their perfection even though they owned by Ford. For the price you pay for a Jaguar you get a lot of car.

    I had a Jaguar X Type 2.5 for 6 months....shudder.
    On my first long drive, the radiator hose blew off as the system had been over pressurised by Jaguar.
    I limped into the services but the damage had been done, blown head gasket and ruined engine. Total engine rebuild £3000, thankfully still ...

    Having an X type 2 litre manual was a joy but having traded up to a Jaguar X Type 2.5 V6 SE auto I am more than pleased.     I have just changed my Jaguar X Type 2.5 V6 SE manual for a 3.0 se auto. The 2.5 was a lovely car to drive and own.
