    We could not have escaped from bedroom in event of fire. Very steep hill or lots of steps the only ways down to the beach. Pavements in the area are very dangerous with lots of holes and plenty of dog muck.

    Casa Palmeras - just got back after 3 weeks. Place owned by Ann and Keith (Casapalmeras.co.uk) who couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Spoke to them a number of times on the 'phone asking for tips etc and they were patient and very informative. Place was spotless and exactly as the website ...

    We stayed at Casa Palmeras No. 111 (which you can see at www.casapalmeras.co.uk). It really is an excellent location.     We stayed in apartment 408 at the Colony Club - it was a lovely apartment. Everything was exactly as promised, clean and spacious, modern apartment.

    The owners Nikki and Kev are fabulous as is Phil who lives above and ferries you about for a nominal fee.

    I have just returned from a holiday at the Colony Club in Puerto del Carmen on Lanzarote. I stayed two nights in the Colony Club before moving to a new apartment.

    Some of the problems.
    1. Lights hanging off the wall.
    2. Major cracks in the glass floor of the balcony.

    This holiday was GREAT!! A great boulevard with lots of cool pubs 'n clubs and a lovely, clean beach with clear and cool water.
