    Loved this story and identified with it from a personal, similar experience. I, however made a different choice and wonder to this day if it was the right one....

    It gave us a chance to believe what could be...and is there a greater euphoria? I was saddened by the ending, but at the same time, I understood and loved it. I wanted a bit more revelation of feelings from Clint and Meryl, but The Bridges of Madison County is just a gold mine of a movie...I could w ...

    How did The Bridges of Madison County become so successful? I rather suspect that there are many more intelligently written 'Mills and Boon' romances.
