Not a big fan of the Gary Fisher Tarpon mountain bike. I thought it was too heavy and too expensive for what you get.

Quite good bike has got no stand in which people might. THe Gary Fisher Tarpon is also quite expensive, for what you get so i cant say its good value for money.

I love this Gary Fisher Tarpon mountain bike. I did however, change out the cassette. I had it replaced with a Mega-Range 34T to climb the hills. Seriously... The Gary Fisher Tarpon bike is rubbish. If you plan on doing anything close to trail riding or are going to ride your bike often spend some more money and get a real mountain bike. The Tarpon from Gary Fisher Bikes is an excellent hardtail mountain bike! I added 'Manitou Magnum R' front suspension and 'Tioga' risers and a 'Kore' handle bar grip with a descent bar.
