AMSTRAD BOXES ARE RUBBISH .....!!!!! Do not get an AMSTRAD box!!

The Sky + great piece of kit couldn't do without it.Love sky loads more channels than virgin. The sky plus is great for series link recording. Able to record when out good quality of picture when recorded not like the video tapes.

As I have noted from previous reviews, the signal breaking up on replay of recorded programmes is our main beef.
Apart from that the Sky+ box functions well, if a little slow, but our PC is slow so I guess we're used to that!

Hi have been a sky customer for 20 years and 3 weeks ago upgraded to Sky+ & multi room, until then we have never had a problem with Sky, since the sky + was installed just 3 weeks ago we have had a Sky Engineer visit us 6 times. There is LITERALLY no point what so ever in buying Sky+ as the main feature, the fact you can record TV and play it back, does not work well at all. On some channels it works fine but on channels like Sky 1, Channel 4 and many others it will skip during playback.
