I recently switched to NatWest from another bank, and found NatWest to be more professional. I would definitely recommend NatWest to anyone interested in opening a current account. From my own experience, the staff have been great and very helpful, not forgetting polite and kind.

I am an international business person whom usually resides in Canada. A couple of years ago I began a NatWest Private banking account while I was travelling and doing business in the UK. The account was to enable me to transfer funds to and from the UK with my Canadian accounts. By having an accou ...

Happily banked with Natwest for over 15 years, always managed to keep me complacent, and vice versa. Never going over an agreed borrowing amount in all that time. sure I had an overdraft, in fact a massive one about 4 years ago, but it was all agreed, and I set about mending my ways and reducing it ...

NatWest I have found are a shockingly bad bank. The staff I have encountered have no idea of banking procedure - I work in a bank myself and repeatedly have to explain how things work when I speak to staff on the telephone. Call centre staff seem to be students earning beer money (no offence student ...

Will ring you up saying it's time for a financial review (i.e. they want you to traipse to the branch in order that they can try to sell you lots of inappropriate financial "services"). When you decline, thy ask you to give personal account details over the phone.
They have a habit of sending you ...

I don't use overdraft/credit cards etc, so can't comment on charges, but Natwest can be very slow at clearing funds if it's to their advantage to do so. Basically the same lame service you'd get from any bank-no better or worse.

Natwest are by no means the worst Bank in the UK, but there is plenty of room for improvement. I have had the current account since I was a student, on a particularly good deal. However, since graduating the terms are less than favourable.

We had to make a payment and were given a due date, we paid it on the due date then got a late charge of £12, when we complained we were told it should of been paid 3 days before the due date and the late charge would stand. So I've closed everything I have with them and encouraged everyone I ...

I have banked with Natwest for the past 8 months and have always found them to be extremely helpful and very quick to do things. I would certainly recommend them. I wanted an upgrade of my service card 100 to a service card 250 and it has been approved. I think they are excellent

It's definitely made me think about changing banks. Looking at the Review Centre website, there are lots of positive reviews about the smaller lesser known companies who appear to look after their customers better than NatWest.
