Been with them for 15 years and pay a fair amount in each month. I to have just been told that they are ending the High Interest Current account. Halifax really are the pits. i have been with them for over 15 years and there is no incentive whatsoever for customer loyalty. When i first joined them it took them a whole year to switch my account over and sort out all the cock ups that they had made whilst doing it. I should have realised the ...

Steer well clear of Halifax. Dreadful, dreadful. Wrote to say we were in the process of closing our account with them, so they cancelled the account immediately, including all our Direct Debits etc. Just awful. There is nothing whatsoever to recommend them. Even their staff were embarrassed at the ...

The Faster Payment system has been introduced for more than a year, but Halifax is still struggling with it.

Every time there was a request, 'You have selected today's date. On this occasion we're unable to send this as an Immediate Faster Payment. Your payment will be sent on 12/06/2009 using our ...
