Works much better in a press than a drip. The finer points of coffee's character (sufficiently complex as to be rather mysterious, especially the aroma) are best revealed when brewed carefully by a press, and must be *coarse-ground,* using slightly more coffee to compensate for larger grounds. The staff at the Helensvale Starbucks Gold Coast store are the some of the friendliest, most helpful people I have dealt with. It is always a pleasure to go there! Oh, and the coffee's not bad either. It is my favourite coffee hangout ever!

Good idea to make one cup at a time...or serve the entire carafe at once....if it sits too long, it "turns" quickly and gets bitter, unless you can use a vacuum process coffee maker.

Gold Coast by Starbucks is another excellent starbucks coffee for the filter machine. It's strong and distinctive for after dinner coffee.
