MBNA are a big company, which makes their MBNA Gold Credit Card service impersonal, and not friendly.

WARNING - Do not go for the MBNA Gold Credit Card. I have had it for 3 years not knowing how much interest I was being charged, when I began to struggle with my payments I realised I was being charged at 30% Apr.

Set up DD wrong on my MBNA Gold Credit Card and I got late payment charges every month, not to mention credit rating damage.

Took MBNA 4 months to put it right with responsibility accepted by the company but on an individual basis not taken by them, so I had to do all the hard work.

It is the biggest scheme ever. I applied for a card 10/21/2003 and was instantly approved for it. I was told that I should expect the card in 7 to 10 days. It's been 20 days I have not received the card as of today. Besides I enrolled in a free 30 day trial of protection plan. I can not cancel this ...

I got the cat lovers MBNA card and did the balance transfer thing which gave me 1.9% apr for 6 months. I made a cheque out on the card and it went over the limit. They increased the limit to accommodate the cheque and no charges were incurred.
