    This phone releases you from the smaller service area that the new GSM networks are starting with, and allows you to keep informed and connected on the Next Generation neworks. This phone has been great to me and is the only one I will carry.

    This phone was a huge disappointment. Software corrupts often - my address book (fewer than 100 names) has been blown away 4 times in 6 months. Already had to do warranty exchange once. AT&T tech support doesn't know what's wrong with it, but will offer a second warranty exchange; Siemens is hard ...

    I have owned this phone for 7 months with no real complaints. It has a good style to it and the reception is clear. In all of San Diego there is only one dead spot that i know of.     I purchased a siemens s-46 so that i could have the capabilty to have digital and gsm service with the ability to make international calls.     This phone broke when I dropped it from 2 feet above the ground. Nobody would cover the warrenty. It is very fragile! I have never had a phone break before.
