A very interesting book, told from a very unusual point of view. It's clever, and very different. Leaves you feeling satisfied but it's unsettling, in that it's a harrowing and emotive subject and doesn't have the typical fairy tale happy ending which serves to make it only more real.

The lovely Bones is one of the few books to have truly moved me, it's a book that I return to again and again, a book of hope after devastation, the hope is there that we are all watched over and will be reunited with our loved ones.

As she watches her family and friends from her heaven she learns the true meanings of relati ...

Alice Sebold's, The Lovely Bones, is a great and very entertaining novel. It's part mystery and part ghost story. I love how Sebold made it feel like you were in heaven with her, but at the same time living with her on Earth. I felt what Susie felt. She has a hard time accepting the fact that she's ...

The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold is one of the best I have ever read. Its tearful but happy at the same time and really makes you think about your life. It is about a girl who is murdered and watches her family from heaven. I really recommend this.

Following the murder of Susie Salmon, we watch her family cope with their grief and loss. However Alice Sebold's The Lovely Bones is no ordinary crime novel, we follow Susie's family over the years through her eyes as she views them from her heaven. The novel draws you into the characters' world and ...
