I wanted a Weber E210 Classic BBQ and Tools 4 The Garden had the best price on the net, but when I phoned to check the stock situation was told the last one had been sold that morning. However, the young lady offered to check when they would have more and call me back, which they duly did in the afternoon to advise more stock had been received. Better still, if I ordered immediately they could ship that very same afternoon for next day delivery, which I was delighted to do. The BBQ arrived at lunchtime the next day, less than 24 hours after placing the order online! If only it was always like this.

After placing my order for the Husqvarna 135 Chainsaw late one Monday afternoon, I was delightfully surprised to have it delivered early on the Tuesday morning! The saw had been built up and tested, ready for me to pick it up and use it straight out of the box. The saw is full of grunt and cuts like a knife through butter. A fantastic easy starting domestic petrol chainsaw that puts my old corded electric saw to shame! Even at the tender age of 59!

had looked at the small webber barbecues locally, went on line and tools 4 the garden were offering a good price so I ordered one on a sunday afternoon and it was delivered tues morning. after ordering the item I had a query so I phoned up and it was answered very quickly, great service thankyou

No issue with the goods it was a bosch hedge trimmer works great however the packaging was very poor, a flimsy black plastic liner , the box was battered and torn and the blade guard was broken. I rang tools 4 the garden and more or less was told that is what to expect when you buy goods on the internet and have them delivered by courier! Very poor customer service. They wont be getting my service again pity as we are replacing quite a few things their loss!

Unfortunately the item I wanted was out of stock, and the website didn't say so - should probably have checked as I needed it in a hurry. Anyway I was able to cancel the transaction with no problems and got a friendly and polite phone call to confirm it was cancelled.

After an hour or so of online research (Which?, various review sites, manufacturers' own sites, etc) we decided to buy a Weber Spirit E310 Classic gas barbecue. Many garden / barbecue suppliers / hardware suppliers online were advertising this product at sub-£400 - but all were lures, falsely advertising one product to get you into their site. Had almost given up hope of finding good price when we came across www.tools4thegarden.co.uk. A quick phone call ascertained the produce was in stock, the cover was included, that delivery was indeed free no matter where in country, and that the price was as advertised. Product delivered by helpful person two days afterwards. Ok, so we didn't get to barbeque on the day we decided to buy, but we saved about £50 and the hassle of lifting a substantial box into and out of the car. Thank you, Tools4thegarden! PS - extremely pleased with the Weber also!

The low value for money score is NOT a reflection on the site, rather the paint manufacturer, who seems to monopolize the pricing where ever you go.

I bought a quite a few items from Tools 4 The Garden including some Hozelock items that had been destroyed by the harsh winter, a refil for our strimmer, a tin of Hammerite for the gate and a garden spade. The lady kindly phoned to say that the garden spade was out of stock because of a delay in china and offered me an alternative which was actually better quality. I can't fault the customer service as I know these things can happen. The total of my bill was about £70 and this meant I also received free delivery. Once they had spoken to me to OK the garden spade issue then it was with me the following day.

I ordered a Husqvarna 235 chainsaw on the Monday and it arrived Tuesday. Now this is great service, but Tools4thegarden also put the chainsaw together for me so when it arrived all I had to do was add the 2-strok and chain oil and away I went. Could not fault the service.
