I have this Siemens S35i mobile phone for more than 2 years now and it has never let me down. It's a very nice piece of german engineering and quality.
It's not a fun phone, it's clearly aimed for the professional market and succeeds very well.

The siemens S35i mobile phone is suitable for simple but active people whose life is not merely for fashion. For some people, the not so bright illumination/back light becomes problem, but I like it because it's bright enough without drawing attention from people arround you.

I got my Siemens S35i mobile phone about 12 1/2 months ago and after I had the first phone replaced due to the "I'm turning myself off now" issue (delivered to my door within 24 hours) I was very happy with the phone except for the low volume of the ring tone and the odd "I'm turning myself off now" ...

I was hesitant at first...but I'm glad now that I ignored some of the negative reviews of the Siemens S35i mobile phone given by some people.
This is a good phone, it's compact, light and the reception I get is better than than the Motorola and Nokia phones I've had in the past.

I'm about to send back my second Siemens S35i phone in a month because the keylock jams on. I can only use the phone by taking the battery out and putting it in again - then have to go through the tedious start-up process before I can make a call.

The only problem I find with the S35i phone from Siemens is that there are no tabs for the ringtone composer. If you could find any please tell me at mwfcowna@yebo.co.za

A phone with a high technical specification, the Siemens S35i has a large screen which is unfortunately difficult to read. I find the audio volume to be too low, even at it's maximum setting. I find the phone keypad continually 'unlocks' itslef in my pocket which inevitably results in 'phantom' call ...

Problems with my Siemens S35i phone from the start with the SIM card not being read. The sound comes and goes and even at the loudest setting it's pathetic. In difficult reception areas it's always the last on the block to find a transmitter.
Battery life never exceeds 48 hours. Still no way to con ...
