    Royal Viking - room/bed attended to twice daily.
    food excellent
    all staff helpful and kind
    our guide was excellent (the detail and his indepth
    knowledge of ancient egypt made our holiday unforgettable).
    whole trip very well organised from beginning to end.
    'on boat' hygeine excellent.

    Excellent value with Discover Egypt.
    Excellent excursions & guides.
    We would go again tomorrow, but waitng for cooler weather.
    Cabins were rather threadbare, but we didn't spend much time there.
    Food was good & service cheerful & competent.
    Highly recommended.

    Just returned and had quite possibly the best holiday of my life.

    The Royal Viking staff were friendly, the food was good, the rooms were clean and we enjoyed the excursions (even though they meant early starts).

    We have just returned from a week's cruise on the Royal Viking. The ship is 5 star rated and very comfortable. There is a large bar/lounge, restaurant, sundeck and plunge pool.     Our trip was from 8 June 2009 on Royal Viking. A lovely ship and helpful staff! We took the upgrade cabin (worth it) and it was very clean and smart. There were only 50 guests on board, instead of 150 which we were pleased about because otherwise it would have been too crowded and I doubt the dining ...

    There are over 300 cruise boats on the Nile, but only one Royal Viking. Discover Egypt have a few boats they use - Viking III and the Royal Viking (Viking Premier is currently being renovated), and a couple of more expensive boats.     The Discover Egypt Royal Viking is a new boat, very clean, good food, friendly staff. If you have decided that a Nile Cruise is for you then I can highly recommend this lovely new boat.
