  Great in almost every respect (music, AV, MP3 etc.) BUT not reliable. A few times each DVD it freezes momentarily, as if it were changing layer. However, rewind and replay the section and the glitch is gone - except when it is actually a layer change of course. Could be because mine is multi-regio ...

  The Yamaha DVD-S520 DVD player has excellent Video and Audio qualities. I am running mine through a Yamaha RX-V1200 amp and Definitive Technology Speakers (ProMonitor 100s, PC2 Center and ProSub 100) with a 36" Sony TV (not HD).
